With the forecasted winter weather approaching, we want to ensure everyone stays safe and informed. We are currently monitoring the conditions for Sunday night into Monday.
While school is currently scheduled to open as normal, there is a possibility of a closure. A final decision will be made based on road safety and facility conditions. If school is canceled, information will be sent via phone, email, text, Facebook, and Channel 6 KWQC as early as possible.

Due to the extreme cold weather warning, Rock Falls Elementary District 13 (Riverdale, Dillon, Merrill, Thome, and Rock Falls Middle School) will have an E-Learning Day on Friday, January 23rd. Please contact your child's teacher with the preferred method of communication if you have any questions...thank you.
Rock Falls ESD 13 will be partnering with the Whiteside United Way to provide meals for our families who are eligible for free and reduced fees beginning Friday, November 14th. Information on how to register is provided below as well as the QR code. Registration must occur by Monday, November 10th.
Information on pick-up dates, time and location will be provided at a later date by District 13. Qualified families who are registered in the program will need to pick up the meals. District 13 is unable to deliver or send home with a student. Once again, this opportunity is for families who qualify for free and reduced fees only.
