School Counselor
RFMS has partnered with Sinnissippi Centers to provide therapeutic school-based services to our students during the school day within the school setting. This enables us to provide a more consistent and immediate level of services to our students and create a system of care that strengthens the link between home, school, and community.
Our school counselor works with students who have mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, peer relationship issues, etc. She consults with teachers, parents, and administrators in assisting with providing positive behavioral support, emotional support, and classroom and academic support. She provides individual and group counseling and serves as a liaison between the home and community and assist parents in finding services within the community.
